6001 Control console

The control console of the ell-electric locomotive used to haul coal from Tumbler Ridge down to Tacheeda. These locomotives were built at the height of the fuel crisis, and used on this line because the two long tunnels on the line caused problems for diesel-electric units. All seven of these locomotives were retired in 2000.
