Well, I got my money's worth out of the recent Quesnel Home and Leisure Show. Some interesting information about titanium-coated cookware, posts you screw into the ground, and pimped-out hot tubs. My city-wide search for star anise (to add to my Chai Lattes) finally came to an end when my girlfriend located the Victorian Epicure booth, and I fell for the pitch of a huckster and purchased a new brush for my cat. To my surprise, however, the brush actually works. However, I have to take the bad with the good; there's far less loose cat hair in my house, but at the cost of far more scratches and punctures on my hands and arms.
The purple haze into which I descended this morning on my commute to work is giving my mastocytes[?] a serious workout. The result is a feeling not quite describable; if you were to ask, I'd say something like, "My qi[?] passages are clogged," or "my chakras[?] are out of whack," or something equally inaccurate. However, the persistent sneezing and sniffling has users avoiding me like I have The Flu. The worst part is that neither antihistamines nor Buckley's are helping alleviate my symptoms. The best part is that it is not, in fact, H1N1 influenza.

Meridian blockage
First of all, I think I am rubbing off on you, you are referring to qi and chakras!
Here is an interesting link that I found, related to the qi meridians and allergies http://www.somaacupuncture.com/allergies-spring.html
To pick one section from this page, "In Chinese medicine, allergies are referred to as "Bi Yuan," which literally means "nose-pool. Bi Yuan is due to repeated invasions of "Wind-cold" that eventually turns to "heat" if not treated properly. " Would you say it is accurate to refer to an allergy as "Bi Yuan"? :)
On a different note, perhaps you should write the manufactor of the cat brush, requesting a special kevlar suit to protect you while groomer Tiger (oops, Tigger I mean!) :)
