Today a coworker pointed out to me Sun's VirtualBox, which is an Open-source virtualization platform (much like VMWare Workstation.) Thus far, I've only installed it on my laptop and installed Windows XP into a VM, but I like it already. Windows is more responsive than under VMWare, and you can access your VMs using any RDP[?] client, which means you don't need special client software to access the VM outside the OS, like you do with VMWare.
On another note, Last night I was nominated for the position of Financial Secretary in our union local. Since no one else wanted the job, I won by acclimation. Just great; this means I'll have to learn how to use Excel. ;)
